The business was started 15 years ago with the creation of Sydney's first children's party venue - Dollicious by Lana Latimer. Lana was a graphic designer and event coordinator who specialised in children's parties. She opened this unique establishment in Hunters Hill in 1990. The popularity of the theme parties led to bigger and better premises in Gladesville where another Lana - Lana Stasis - joined the team. For the next ten years Dollicious expanded to include parties at The National Maritime museum, parties at home or wherever the occasion took them.

Dollicious expanded again in 2005 and became part of 3D Parties. Why should the kids have all the fun? A new location at 250 Victoria Road, Gladesville, now offers adults and parents the opportunity to party with or without the children. The brand new party venue is called D250 - the ultimate party venue.

This is an ideal venue for family functions like Christenings where adults and children can come together and have fun in a safe, secure environment. The unique feature at D250 is the children can be entertained separately if required, to let mums and dads enjoy themselves for an hour or two.

At night, the venue takes on another personality. Special effects that include lighting and sound systems, balloon décor and Jukebox/karaoke combine to make any party an instant success. All ages are catered for. However, the premises are ideal for under 18's, 18's and 21st Birthday parties where parents are looking for a safe, secure environment for their kids to have fun. It is also safe for the oldies too! The big 'O' birthdays can be celebrated in style. Any theme can be catered for by the The Designa Party team or party professionals.

Designa Parties is the third division of 3D Parties. They put the 'wow factor' into party and function co-ordination. Make planning your function easy.
